Western Governors University-SAAB Scholarship
The purpose of the WGU-SAAB Scholarship is to reflect the partnership and mutual commitment of SAAB and Western Governors University to encourage pursuit of continuing education (virtually) by under-resourced high school-leveled SAAB participants interested in pursuing educational opportunities at Western Governors University. Each scholarship recipient will be awarded $1000 per term; renewable up to 8 terms contingent upon complying with all expectations of Western Governors University coupled with maintaining active involvement with SAAB each academic term (up to 8 terms) the scholarship is awarded.
To be eligible to apply and to receive strong consideration for the WGU-SAAB scholarship, an applicant must:
- A. Be a high school senior, college freshman, college sophomore or college junior, actively participating in a high school or collegiate SAAB chapter that is an official partner of SAAB as executed through an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the participating SAAB school/institution.
- B. Applicant must be in good academic and behavior standing with his high school or college and must be in good standing with his SAAB chapter as verified by the Chapter Advisor(s).
- C. Applicant must have been officially accepted by Western Governors University at the point of applying and must possess the intent to officially enroll for a given term.
