Max Buetow

is the president and CEO of CoxHealth. Buetow joined the organization in 2012 as the director of Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute. His career path continued in the neurosciences when he assumed the role of administrative director for the neuroscience service line. He became a vice president with CoxHealth’s physician entity, Cox Medical Group, and the VP of neurosciences in 2015. In June 2020, Buetow moved into the role of COO, where he had operational responsibility for the enterprise’s six hospitals.

Before CoxHealth, Buetow worked as an operations and distribution manager for Sara Lee Fresh Bakery, developing an affinity for Lean Six Sigma process improvement. Buetow received his undergraduate degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and his Master of Business Administration at Drury University in Springfield.

Buetow is a board member of Multipli Credit Union, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, SkyWord Sports Ministries, and the Missouri Hospital Association. He is also very involved in his local church and enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their four children.

Secoy Hodges

is a dedicated leader, speaker, and advocate with a passion for education, mentorship, and community impact. A proud Springfield native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from Missouri State University, where he built a strong foundation in leadership, communication, and service.

Committed to empowering others, Secoy has served as a State Ambassador for the Missouri Department of Higher Education, helping students navigate their academic and professional paths. He has also been deeply involved in mentorship and leadership development, while he served as President of the Springfield chapter of SAAB (Brother 2 Brother).  He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

As the founder of The Jewels of Success, Secoy is a professional speaker focused on personal and professional growth, delivering messages that inspire confidence and resilience. His dedication has earned him a lifetime membership award from the Boys & Girls Club of America, endorsements from United Way, and a role in diversity training for the Springfield Police Department. He also served as Ambassador of Multicultural Resource Services at Missouri State University, advocating for inclusion and representation.

Outside of his leadership and advocacy work, Secoy is a paid actor, appearing in commercials for Circle K, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Hurts Donuts. His contributions to the community were recently recognized when he was honored as a recipient of the Springfield NAACP 2024 Honoring Black Excellence Award.

Matthew King

is a proud native of Mount Clemens, Michigan, Matthew graduated from Mount Clemens High School in 2015 before earning his Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in 2021. Throughout his journey, he has remained deeply committed to education, service, and empowering others.
Currently, Matthew serves as a College Navigator at Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri, where he helps students navigate their path to higher education. But his impact extends beyond his professional role.
As the Founder and Director of the Everybody Eats Scholarship, Matthew has raised over $20,800 to support students in his hometown, where over 80% of students live under the poverty line, and 85% of students are people of color. Through his leadership, 40 students have received financial support, many of whom are first-generation college students.
His dedication to community engagement also led him to create Mount Clemens Hoops, a program that provided a positive space for predominantly young black adults to connect through basketball while raising funds and school supplies for local students.
Beyond his direct impact, Matthew has been a voice for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. He has led Alternative Break service trips across the country, delivered keynote addresses, and won multiple awards for his powerful speeches—including the Central Michigan University Martin Luther King Jr. Oratorical Contest and Macomb County Ministerial Alliance’s Essay & Speech Competition. His self-developed workshop, DiversiTEAM, was also recognized as a Top Program at the Central Michigan University DREAM Conference.
Matthew King is a leader who inspires change and uplifts those around him. 

Terrence Hinson

Dr. Terrence Hinson resides in Long Island, New York and is married with three sons.  Currently, he serves as the Assistant Principal at Northpoint High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from North Carolina Central University; his Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psycholgy from Teacher’s College-Columbia University and recently his Doctor of Education from Molloy University. Dr. Hinson is no stranger to SAAB in that he recently completed a qualitative study involving SAAB specifically investigating how “Sense of Belonging” plays at the high school level for SAAB participants.    He will be presenting his findings with the professionals at this year’s (2025) SAAB Student Leadership Summit.

Rachel Rosas

Rachel Rosas is a dedicated Human Resources professional with six years of experience. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from Missouri State University and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Communication, specializing in organization and business development, from Purdue University. Passionate about the power of people, Rachel is committed to inspiring, influencing, and fostering career growth. Known for her approachable and supportive leadership style, she takes pride in making HR both impactful and engaging.

Rachel attributes her success to hard work, relentless dedication, and the unwavering support of her husband, Eddy, whom she has been happily married to for nine years. She also values the encouragement of her friends, family, and colleagues at Reliable Cars & RV.

A lifelong resident of Springfield, MO, Rachel finds joy in adventure and the great outdoors. She escapes to the mountains at least three times a year to indulge in her love for snowboarding. Whether she’s carving down the slopes, hiking with her husband and their two dogs, exploring new destinations, or curling up with a good book, she makes the most of her free time.

Rachel’s career at Reliable Cars & RV has provided her with the opportunity to give back to the community through mentoring young professionals, volunteering, and engaging in professional development initiatives. She has led numerous training programs, helped implement company-wide retention practices, and played a key role in shaping workplace culture. “Helping others grow in their career is a true passion of mine and one of the biggest reasons I love what I do,” she says. With the company’s recent partnership with SAAB, Rachel is eager to see how this new collaboration will unfold and is excited for the future
